NARAQUAN was founded in 2023 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization by a group of people determined to defend the rights of immigrants seeking safety and a sense of freedom in the United States. A need for more accessible mental health resources for immigrants was also identified.
Our team is made up of attorney, licensed mental health therapist/counselor, and advocates who are passionate about supporting immigrants' rights and mental health.
To defend and advance the rights of immigrants who are vulnerable youths, victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking by providing direct legal services, counseling, advocacy and community education.
